I picked up pickleball for the first time in early 2024 and was instantly obsessed. As a former tennis player of way too many decades, the transition felt like discovering a cheat code: all the fun, none of the double faults.

I'm 40, and like many people my age, I enjoy staying active without blowing out a knee every weekend. Pickleball hit that perfect sweet spot — social, strategic, and just the right amount of sweaty.
